Scope

This part of GB/T 223 specifies the method for determining the content of bismuth and arsenic in steel and alloys by atomic fluorescence spectrometry using hydride generation. This method is suitable for determining the content of bismuth and arsenic in steel and nickel-based alloys. The mass fraction range for bismuth determination is 0.0005% to 0.01%; the mass fraction range for arsenic determination is 0.0005% to 0.01%.
