Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of atomic fluorescence spectrometers. This standard applies to non-dispersive vapor generation atomic fluorescence spectrometers (hereinafter referred to as "instruments") for measuring elements such as arsenic, antimony, bismuth, selenium, tellurium, lead, tin, and germanium that can form hydride compounds, as well as mercury in the atomic vapor state, and volatile compounds such as zinc and cadmium.
