GB/T 13960.2-2008 Safety of transportable motor operated electric tools—Part 2:Particular requirements for circular saws
Abstract
This section applies to portable circular saws (defined in 3.101) that cut wood and similar materials with saw blades not exceeding 260 mm in diameter.
Where applicable, this standard addresses the common hazards caused by tools that people encounter when using tools and when misusing tools in a reasonably foreseeable manner.
Tools with electrically heated components fall within the scope of this standard. The requirements for these heating elements are specified in the relevant sections of GB 4706.
For tools that are not isolated from the power grid and whose basic insulation is not designed for the rated voltage of the tool, the requirements are specified in Appendix B.
