Abstract
This part of YY/T 0988 specifies the requirements for pure titanium powder and titanium-6 aluminum-4 vanadium alloy powder used to form coatings on titanium alloy implants.
The powders specified in this part can be used to form coatings through sintering or thermal spraying processes.
This part specifies the requirements for the powders, but it does not apply to the performance of coatings made from the powders.
Note: Fine titanium powders may cause spontaneous combustion, and handling should comply with relevant guidelines.
