GB/T 21421.1-2021 Composite string insulator units for overhead lines with a nominal voltage greater than 1 000 V—Part 1:Standard strength classes and end fittings
Abstract
This document specifies the standard values for the mechanical characteristics of composite insulator string elements and the main dimensions used in the connection of composite insulator string elements, so that the insulators and end fittings provided by different manufacturers can be assembled and interchanged.
This document also specifies the standard connection symbol representation method for composite insulator string elements.
Note 1: The general provisions and methods of testing are described in the relevant product standards.
Note 2: This document only deals with the dimensions necessary for connection assembly, and does not specify material performance and working load. Table 1 shows the dimensional match between end fittings and strength grades.
