本文件规定了复合绝缘子串元件机械特性的规定值和使用在复合绝缘子串元件上联接的主要尺寸，使不同的制造者提供的绝缘子和端部装配件能够装配及互换。
本文件还规定了复合绝缘子串元件的标准联接符号表示方法。
注1： 试验的一般规定和方法见相关产品标准。
注2： 本文件仅涉及联接装配所必要的尺寸，不规定材料性能和工作负荷，表1给出了端部装配件与强度等级的尺寸配合。
