GB/T 37161-2018 Gears—Evaluation of instruments for measurement of individual gears
Abstract
This standard specifies the evaluation methods for instruments used to measure gear involute, helical line, tooth pitch, and radial runout, and is also applicable to instruments used for directly measuring radial runout and calculating radial runout using indexing measurement methods. Additionally, it recommends evaluation methods for tooth thickness measuring instruments, including the evaluation method for measurement uncertainty using calibration samples. This standard does not include calibration requirements for laboratory samples requiring ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation; it is not intended as an acceptance specification for product gears (see ISO 13281, ISO 13282, ISO/TR 100641, and ISO/TR 100643); and it is not applicable to the evaluation of measurement uncertainty for product gears (for which, see ISO/TR 100645).
