Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the trace metal element content in high-purity alumina powders using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).
This standard is applicable to the determination of the trace metal element content in high-purity alumina powders (with an alumina content ranging from 99.9% to 99.995% by mass) including calcium, chromium, copper, iron, lanthanum, magnesium, manganese, sodium, nickel, lead, silicon, titanium, vanadium, yttrium, zinc, and zirconium. The determination ranges for each element are shown in Table 1.
