Abstract
1.1 This part specifies the test method for determining the average wear resistance of anodized films on aluminum and aluminum alloys using a spray abrasion tester, and comparing it with the wear resistance of standard samples and agreed reference samples. 1.2 This part is applicable to the inspection of anodized films on aluminum and aluminum alloys with a film thickness of not less than 5 μm, especially suitable for small samples with a test area diameter of about 2 mm and samples with uneven surfaces.
