This standard specifies the maximum residue limits of 483 pesticides, including 2,4-D, in food products.
This standard applies to foods related to the limits.
The food categories and testing sites (see Appendix A) are used to define the scope of application of the maximum residue limits of pesticides, and are only applicable to this standard. If the maximum residue limit of a certain pesticide applies to a certain food category, it applies to all foods in that food category, unless otherwise specified.
The list of pesticides exempt from the formulation of maximum residue limits in food (see Appendix B) is used to define the scope of pesticides that do not need to establish maximum residue limits in food.
