Abstract
This document provides onboard security guidelines for specific departments. Companies (organizations) that comply with ISO 28000 can demonstrate their qualifications for providing contracted private armed security personnel (PCASP) onboard by implementing these guidelines. If they declare compliance with these guidelines, they should follow all the recommendations in this document.
Compliance with this document can be certified by first-, second-, and third-party organizations. Considering the subsequent use of the certification certificate, it is recommended that the certificate include the following text: "This certificate certifies that the private maritime security company has met all the guidelines of ISO 28007-1 for providing private contracted armed security personnel."
