本文件提供了包含针对具体部门的船上安保指南，符合ISO 28000的规定的公司(组织）能够通过实施这些指南证明在船上提供合同制私人武装保安人员(PCASP）的工作资质。若声明符合这些指南，宜遵守本文件所有建议。
符合本文件能够通过第一、第二、第三方进行认证。考虑到认证证书以后的使用，建议认证证书包含以下文字：“此证书作为私营海事安保公司提供私人合约武装保安人员的认证，已满足ISO 28007-1的全部指导原则”。
