GB/T 12234-2019 Bolted bonnet steel gate valves for petroleum and natural gas industries
Abstract
This standard specifies the structural type, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules, marking, protection, packaging, and storage and transportation of steel gate valves (hereinafter referred to as gate valves) for use in the oil and gas industry.
This standard applies to flanged or welded connection gate valves with a nominal pressure of PN16 to PN420, a nominal size of DN25 to DN1050, a pressure rating of Class 150 to Class 2500, and a nominal size of NPS1 to NPS42, suitable for temperatures ranging from -46°C to 550°C. It includes gate valves with the following configurations: lift rod with thread and bracket (lift-type valve stem and non-lift-type handwheel), metal sealing pair, wedge-type single gate valve, wedge-type double gate valve, parallel double gate valve, and gate valves with pressure self-tightening sealing covers.
Gate valves with threaded connections and clamp connections at the ends can be referenced for implementation.
