Abstract
This standard specifies the product code and representation method for control cables with extruded polyvinyl chloride and cross-linked polyethylene insulation, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, and halogen-free polyolefin sheaths, rated for AC voltages U0/U of 450/750 V; the cable name and model specifications; the marking of finished cables and the identification of insulated cores; technical requirements; test methods and inspection rules; usage characteristics; and packaging, etc.
This standard applies to control cables fixedly installed for use in AC rated voltages U0/U of 450/750 V and below, such as for control, monitoring circuits, and protection lines.
