GB/T 3098.2-2025 Mechanical properties of fasteners—Part 2:Nuts
Abstract
This document specifies the mechanical and physical properties of coarse-threaded and fine-threaded nuts made from carbon steel or alloy steel when conducting tests under ambient temperatures of 10℃ to 35℃.
The nuts applicable to this document:
a) Comply with the general thread specifications defined in GB/T 192;
b) Meet the diameter and pitch combinations specified in GB/T 193 and GB/T 9144;
c) Coarse-threaded specifications: M5 to M39;
d) Fine-threaded specifications: M8×1 to M39×3;
e) Performance grades: 04, 05, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12, including guaranteed load;
f) Three nut types (see 5.1): standard nut (Type 1), high nut (Type 2), and thin nut (Type 0);
g) Minimum outer diameter or width of opposite sides (s)≥1.45D;
h) Can be used with bolts, screws, and studs meeting the performance grades specified in GB/T 3098.1 (see Appendix B);
i) Operating temperature range: -50℃ to +150℃ or up to +300℃.
