GB/T 5169.46-2020 Fire hazard testing for electric and electronic products—Part 46:Test flames—Determination of the characteristic heat flux for ignition from a non-contacting flame source
Abstract
This part of GB/T 5169 provides a test method for determining the characteristic heat flux (CHFI) of materials used in electrical and electronic products and their components when they ignite in a non-contact flame source, and gives the relationship between the ignition time and the incident heat flux. The samples used in this test method are taken from finished products or components.
This part is intended for product committees to prepare standards in accordance with the principles stipulated in IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51.
One of the tasks of product committees is to use this series of standards wherever applicable when preparing their own standards. Unless the relevant standards specifically mention or list that they are not applicable, the requirements, test methods, or test conditions of this part are applicable.
