GB/T 19436.1-2025 Active

This document specifies the general principles for the design, manufacture, and testing of electrically sensitive protective equipment (ESPE) specifically used for detecting the human body or parts of the human body, which are components of safety-related systems. It is particularly important to ensure that the appropriate safety-related performance is achieved for their functions and design requirements. ESPEs may include selective safety-related functions, the requirements for which are given in Appendix A. Note: "Non-contact" means that no human contact is required for sensing. This document is intended to be used in conjunction with subsequent parts of GB/T 19436, which are based on the special requirements of sensitive technologies. Example: This document and GB/T 19436.2 are used for active optoelectronic protective devices (AOPDs); this document and GB/T 19436.3 are used for active optoelectronic diffuse reflection protective devices (AOPDDRs). If there is no part covering sensitive technologies, IEC TS 62998-1 is used. If the GB/T 19436 series does not contain all necessary provisions, IEC TS 62998-1 is used. In addition to IEC TS 62998-1, the parts covered by the GB/T 19436 series can also be used in combination.
