Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general provisions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of steel truss components.
This standard applies to plane steel trusses composed of angle steel, T-steel, H-steel, channel steel, and I-beam used in industrial and civil buildings. This standard does not apply to trusses subject to fatigue calculation according to specified requirements.
