GB/T 18311.31-2007 Fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive components—Basic test and measurement procedures—Part 3-31:Examinations and measurements—Coupled power ratio measurement for fibre optic sources
Abstract
This section specifies the method of measuring the coupling power ratio (CPR) coefficient. When measuring the attenuation and insertion loss of multimode fiber according to GB/T 18311.4—2003, the CPR is used to characterize the characteristics of the light source and standardize the injection conditions.
The CPR coefficient can be measured at wavelengths of 850nm and 1300nm.
