GB/T 6553-2024 Electrical insulating materials used under severe ambient conditions—Test methods for evaluating resistance to tracking and erosion
Abstract
This document describes two methods for evaluating the resistance to electrical tracking and corrosion of electrical insulation materials used in harsh environmental conditions, using liquid pollutants and inclined test samples at a frequency of 50 Hz (45 Hz to 65 Hz).

—— Method 2: Step-by-step voltage increase method.
Method 1 is more widely used because it does not require continuous observation.
The test conditions are designed to accelerate the occurrence of effects, but not to replicate all the conditions encountered in actual use.
