Abstract
This standard specifies the type, dimensions, technical requirements, and markings of Type 1 hexagonal nuts. This standard applies to nuts with thread sizes M1.6 to M64, performance grades of Class 6, Class 8, and Class 10, A250, A270, A450, A470, CU2, CU3, and AL4, and product grades of Class A and Class B. Class A is used for nuts with a diameter of D ≤ 16 mm; Class B is used for nuts with a diameter of D > 16 mm.
