Abstract
This standard specifies the general requirements for personnel, environment, equipment, detection process control, records, reports, and archives in the non-destructive testing of industrial computed tomography (CT) using X-rays and gamma rays.
This standard is applicable to the industrial CT detection of metal, non-metal, and composite components and assemblies (most materials such as welded parts, castings, electronic components, explosive structures, pyrotechnic products, etc.). Other application fields or industrial CT detection using other types of radiation can be used as a reference.
