Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for personnel, environment, equipment, detection process control, records, reports, and archives in the non-destructive testing of industrial computed tomography (CT) using X-rays and gamma rays.
This standard is applicable to the industrial CT detection of metal, non-metal, and composite components and assemblies (most materials such as welded parts, castings, electronic components, explosive structures, pyrotechnic products, etc.).
