GB/T 6171-2016 Hexagon nuts,style1—Fine pitch thread
Abstract
This standard specifies the type, dimensions, technical requirements, and marking of fine-thread Type 1 hexagonal nuts. This standard applies to hexagonal nuts with a nominal thread diameter of D=8 mm to 64 mm, performance grades of 6, 8, and 10, A250, A270, A450, A470, CU2, CU3, and AL4, and product grades of A and B for fine-thread hexagonal nuts. Grade A is used for nuts with D≤16 mm; Grade B is used for nuts with D>16 mm. Note: Due to the insufficient height of the nuts with fine-threaded threads, which results in a high rate of thread slippage, Type 2 hexagonal nuts can be used. See GB/T 6176 for details.
