GB 3836.13-2013 Explosive atmospheres—Part 13:Equipment repair,overhaul and reclamation
Abstract
This part of GB 3836 specifies the technical requirements, processing methods, and inspections for the repair, overhaul, restoration, and modification of electrical equipment that has obtained explosion-proof certifications for use in explosive environments.
This part does not apply to equipment maintenance, except when repair and maintenance cannot be separated. It does not stipulate requirements for the cable introduction system that needs to be updated when reinstalling equipment.
This part does not apply to encapsulated type "m", oil-immersed type "o", and sand-filled type "q".
This part assumes that excellent process practices are always adopted.
