This document specifies a data exchange format for hand profile information, establishing the content, format, and measurement units of hand profile data exchange.
This document also specifies the compliance test methods, test assertions, and elements of the test procedures for the hand profile data exchange format. It establishes:
——Test assertions for the structure of the hand profile data format specified in Chapter 8 (see Class A Level 1 defined in Appendix A of GB/T 26237.1-2022);
——Test assertions for internal compatibility by checking the type of each field's value in the hand profile data (see Class A Level 2 defined in Appendix A of GB/T 26237.1-2022);
——Guidelines for testing the compatibility of selected encoded data fields with input biometric data (see Class B Level 3 defined in Appendix A of GB/T 26237.1-2022).
The compliance test methods specified in this document do not involve:
——Compliance testing of the CBEFF structure required by this document;
——Compliance testing with input biometric data records (see Class 3 defined in Appendix A of GB/T 26237.1-2022);
——Testing of other features of biometric recognition products or other types of tests (such as acceptability, performance, robustness, and security);
——Compliance testing of systems that do not generate data records according to the requirements of this document.
This document applies to the field of biometric recognition for recording, storing, and transmitting hand profile information.
This document also applies to the compliance testing of hand profile data records and the development and use of compliance test suites.
