本文件规定了一种手形轮廓信息的数据交换格式，确立了手形轮廓数据交换的内容、格式与度量单位。
本文件还规定了手形轮廓数据交换格式的符合性测试方法、测试断言和测试规程的要素。建立了：
——第8章规定的手形轮廓数据格式结构的测试断言(见GB/T 26237.1-2022的附录A中定义的A类1级)；
——通过检测手形轮廓数据每个字段的值的类型来检查内部相容性的测试断言(见GB/T 26237.1—2022的附录A中定义的A类2级)；
——测试选定的编码数据字段与输入的生物特征数据相容性的资料性指南(见GB/T 26237.1—2022的附录A中定义的B类3级)。
本文件中规定的符合性测试方法不涉及：
——本文件要求的CBEFF结构的符合性测试；
——与输入生物特征数据记录的相容性测试(见GB/T 26237.1—2022的附录A中定义的3级)；
