GB/T 3098.15-2014 Mechanical properties of fasteners—Stainless steel nuts
Abstract
This part of GB/T 3098 specifies the mechanical properties of nuts made from austenitic, martensitic, and ferritic corrosion-resistant stainless steels when tested at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 35 °C. Under higher or lower temperatures, their performance may vary.
The nuts applicable to this part:
——with a nominal thread diameter D ≤ 39 mm;
——with a diameter and pitch that comply with GB/T 192, GB/T 193, and GB/T 9144 for ordinary threads;
——of any shape;
——with a width of the flats that complies with the provisions of GB/T 3104;
——with a nominal height m ≥ 0.5D.
This part does not apply to nuts with the following performance requirements:
——locking performance;
——weldability.
