Abstract
This part of GB/T 22512 specifies the requirements for the following drill string components: upper and lower square drill pipe plug valves, square drill pipes and hexagonal drill pipes, drill string conversion joints, standard steel drill collars and non-magnetic drill collars, drilling bits and coring bits, and heavyweight drill pipes (HWDP).
This part does not apply to drill pipes and drill pipe joints, rotating shoulder-type connection designs, thread measurement methods, or original gauges, calibration gauges, and working gauges.
Typical drill string assemblies applicable to this part are shown in Figure 1.
