GB/T 19652-2023 Discharge lamps (excluding fluorescent lamps)—Safety specifications
Abstract
This document specifies the safety requirements for discharge lamps (except fluorescent lamps) used in general lighting.
This document applies to low-pressure sodium lamps and high-intensity discharge lamps (HID), namely high-pressure mercury lamps (including mixed lamps), high-pressure sodium lamps, and metal halide lamps. This document is applicable to both single-ended and double-ended lamps, and Appendix A lists the lamp head models used.
This document only addresses safety requirements and does not include performance requirements. Performance requirements can be found in IEC 60188, IEC 60192, IEC 60662, IEC 61167, and IEC 61549.
Lamps that comply with this document can safely operate at 90% to 110% of the rated power supply voltage when paired with corresponding ballasts, starting devices, and luminaires. The ballasts must comply with the requirements of IEC 61347-2-9 and IEC 60923, the starting devices must comply with the requirements of IEC 61347-2-1 and IEC 60927, and the luminaires must comply with the requirements of GB/T 7000.1.
