Abstract
This part of GB/T 14041 specifies a test method for verifying the structural integrity of filter elements and determining the maximum pore size position of the filter material using the bubble point test. This part of GB/T 14041 is applicable to filter elements used in hydraulic transmission systems. The structural integrity verification is used to determine the acceptability of the filter element for subsequent use or testing. Through continuous structural integrity tests, the initial bubble point can be determined, but the test results cannot be used to infer the performance of the filter element, such as its filtration ratio, filtration efficiency, or contaminant retention capacity.
