Scope

This standard specifies the general principles, classification, design capacity and main performance requirements of reactive power compensation for power users, as well as the typical configuration of reactive power compensation for power users. This standard applies to the design of reactive power compensation for power users with a supply voltage of 20 kV or less and a transformer capacity of 100 kVA or more, and also applies to the design of reactive power compensation for public transformers in the power grid under the same conditions. In addition to meeting the requirements of this standard, the design of reactive power compensation for power users shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
