Scope
This part of GB/T 21451 provides guidelines for the selection, accuracy, installation, commissioning, calibration, and inspection of automatic tank gauges (ATT) used for measuring the temperature of oil and liquid petroleum products in oil tank compartments. This part is applicable to the transfer and metering of oil and liquid petroleum products with a reid vapor pressure not exceeding 100 kPa. This part is not applicable to temperature measurement in refrigerated cargo holds or pressurized cargo holds on ships.
