Scope

This standard specifies the grading and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of flue gas desulfurization gypsum.
This standard applies to flue gas desulfurization gypsum, which is mainly composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO4·2H2O), produced by the wet method of desulfurizing sulfur-containing flue gas with limestone/lime and gypsum.
