Scope

This standard specifies the methods for chemical analysis of cement and X-ray fluorescence analysis. The methods for chemical analysis of cement are divided into reference methods and substitute methods. In case of disputes, the reference method of chemical analysis of cement shall prevail. This standard is applicable to general silicate cement and the clinker and raw materials used in the preparation of the above-mentioned cement, as well as other cements and materials specified to adopt this standard.
