Scope

This standard applies to the engineering design of stations, parking lots, and repair shops for urban public transportation in new construction, expansion, and renovation projects. The main technical content of this standard includes: 1 General Principles; 2 Stations; 3 Parking Lots; 4 Maintenance Stations; 5 Repair Shops; 6 Dispatch Centers. The main amendments to this standard include: 1 Adding the design of public transportation hub stations and dispatch centers; 2 Refining the functions and basic requirements of station, parking lot, and repair shop facilities; 3 Redefining and adjusting unclear concepts and outdated indicators such as the total land area of parking lots; 4 Adding electric vehicles, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and informatization construction in public transportation stations, parking lots, and repair shops; 5 Deleting content related to urban waterborne public transportation.
