Scope

This document specifies the types, basic parameters, and dimensions of single-phase plugs and sockets for household and similar applications, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to single-phase plugs and sockets for household and similar applications with an AC frequency of 50 Hz, a rated voltage of 250 V, and a rated current not exceeding 32 A. Note: Examples of products for which the types and dimensions in this document apply include: -- Sockets used in household scenarios; -- Plugs provided with electrical appliances; -- Plugs for direct-insertion devices; -- Fixed integrated AC power supply sockets with a rated voltage of 220 V for conducting charging of electric vehicles; -- Charging sockets in centralized charging facilities for electric bicycles and electric motorcycles.
