Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and quality certificates for semi-graphitic coke blocks used in blast furnaces. This standard applies to coke blocks made primarily from high-temperature electric calcined anthracite and graphite, which are used to build the inner lining of ironmaking blast furnaces, and also applies to semi-graphitic coke blocks used in mineral heat furnaces.
