Scope
This document specifies the models, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of mica tapes for fire-resistant safety cables, which are reinforced with alkali-free glass fiber cloth/plastic film and bonded with suitable resin, and mica paper (hereinafter referred to as "fire-resistant mica tapes"). This document is applicable to fire-resistant mica tapes for cables that can continue to operate after a fire. The nominal thickness of these tapes ranges from 0.10 mm to 0.20 mm, and they are supplied in a soft state as strips, sheets, or rolls.
