DB32/T 3583-2019 Determination of tritium and carbon-14 in biaological samples—Liquid scintillation method
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, samples, calculation and presentation of results, precision and accuracy, and quality assurance and quality control for the liquid scintillation counting method used to determine tritium and carbon-14 in biological samples. This standard is applicable to the determination of free water tritium, organically bound tritium, and carbon-14 in animals and plants. Under typical conditions, the detection limit for free water tritium can reach 0.90 Bq/L or 0.72 Bq/kg·fresh, the detection limit for organically bound tritium can reach 0.90 Bq/L or 0.20 Bq/kg·fresh, and the detection limit for carbon-14 can reach 4.17 Bq/kg·fresh or 0.091 Bq/g·carbon. For the detection limits, please refer to A.1.
