Scope

This document specifies the allowable deviations of the chemical composition of finished products (including billets) from the specified melting chemical composition limits for non-alloy steel, low-alloy steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, deformable corrosion-resistant alloys, and high-temperature alloys, and provides definitions of related terms.
