GB/T 18451.2-2025 Wind energy generation systems—Power performance measurements of electricity producing wind turbines
Basic Information
Scope
This document describes the test method for the power characteristics of single wind turbine units, which is applicable to all types and sizes of grid-connected wind turbine units. Additionally, this document describes the power characteristics test method for grid-connected and small wind turbine units (defined in IEC 61400-2) connected to battery systems. This test method is suitable for evaluating the performance of specific wind turbine units in specific geographical locations. Similarly, when considering the impact of specific site conditions and data screening, this test method is applicable to making general comparisons between wind turbine units of different types or configurations.
Appendix R provides considerations related to the uncertainty evaluation of power characteristics tests for multiple wind turbine units for reference.
This document describes a measurement method that requires supplementing the measured power curves and derived power generation charts by evaluating the sources of uncertainty and their combined effects. The sources of uncertainty in wind measurements are evaluated according to the procedures described in the relevant wind measurement equipment standards, while the uncertainties of power curves and annual power generation are assessed according to the procedures in this document.
