Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of metal containers for canned food, provides product classification, specifies quality requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to the production, inspection, and sale of metal containers for canned food made from tin-plated or chromium-plated thin steel sheets and aluminum alloy thin plates. Other food packaging made from the aforementioned metal materials shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
