Scope

This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and order forms (or contracts) for remelted aluminum ingots.
This document applies to remelted aluminum ingots (hereinafter referred to as "aluminum ingots") produced by the electrolytic method of aluminum oxide-cryolite molten salt.
The electrolytic primary aluminum liquid shall be implemented as a reference.
