Scope

Article I: In order to strengthen and standardize the supervision and inspection of gas cylinder manufacturing (hereinafter referred to as "supervision and inspection"), these rules are formulated in accordance with the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment" (hereinafter referred to as "Regulations") and the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders". Article II: These rules apply to the supervision and inspection of gas cylinder manufacturing within the scope specified in the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders". Article III: Domestic gas cylinder manufacturing units (hereinafter referred to as "manufacturing units") shall accept the supervision and inspection of the gas cylinder manufacturing process conducted by special equipment inspection and testing institutions (hereinafter referred to as "supervision and inspection institutions"). Gas cylinders manufactured by foreign manufacturing units shall, if no supervision and inspection work has been carried out, undergo safety performance inspections in accordance with relevant regulations after the gas cylinders arrive at the port. Manufacturing units shall hold corresponding "Special Equipment Manufacturing Licenses". Article IV: Supervision and inspection institutions shall be approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "National Quality Supervision and Inspection Administration") and have qualifications for corresponding supervision and inspection projects.
