Scope

This document specifies the types and basic parameters, general rules, inspection conditions, inspection methods, and marking and packaging of internal diameter micrometers (including rod-type internal diameter micrometers and single-rod type internal diameter micrometers). This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, and inspection of rod-type internal diameter micrometers and single-rod type internal diameter micrometers (excluding electronic digital display internal diameter micrometers) with a graduation value of 0.01 mm, 0.001 mm, 0.002 mm, and 0.005 mm, a micrometer screw pitch of 0.5 mm or 1.0 mm, and a maximum measurement range of no more than 6,000 mm.
