GB 30863-2025 Eye and face protection—Laser eye-protectors

Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements and markings for laser protective gear, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document applies to eye protection gear such as laser glasses, laser eye shields, laser face masks, or face screens (including components such as filters, frames, and side shields) that protect against accidental exposure to laser radiation (with a wavelength range of 180 nm to 1 mm); it also applies to laser protective gear used during laser equipment debugging.
This document does not apply to laser protective filters used as observation windows on laser equipment, nor to laser protective filters on optical equipment (such as microscopes and magnifying glasses).
