Scope

Main technical content: Select and install the HDP/3PB probe. Connect the instrument's power supply and preheat it for 30 minutes to stabilize its performance. Open the software, select the HDP/3PB program in the scheme list, and perform force and height calibration according to the instrument's operating procedures to ensure that the instrument's display value matches the standard value. Open the TA program settings and set the sample testing conditions according to Appendix 1. Place the prepared betel nut samples horizontally on the loading platform (with the adhesive side facing up) so that the pressing head is located in the effective measurement area of the sample. Click "Test" to run the program and record the maximum force value (g). The result shows that the maximum force value (g) displayed by the instrument is the hardness value of a single sample, and the arithmetic average of the hardness values of 20 samples is the final result. F=(∑_(i=1)20?f_i )/20 where F is the arithmetic average of the 20 samples; fi is the hardness value of the i-th sample.
