Scope
This document describes two methods for determining the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in vulcanized rubber. Method A is nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectroscopy, and Method B is gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
This document is applicable to the determination of the content of PAHs in vulcanized rubber, and it is also applicable to the determination of the content of PAHs in tires.
