This document describes the method and steps for determining the acid value of insulating liquids using colorimetric titration.
This document is applicable to both unused and used electrical insulating liquids.
Note: In unused and used insulating liquids, acidic components include organic acids, phenolic compounds, oxidation products, resins, metal organic salts, and additives.
